The best miners in one place.

Looking for the best miner for your project? At Coin Factory, we've put together a list of the best miners for you. We show you the best and most profitable industrial and home ASIC miners for 2025.

here's no need to wait, let's get started. We'll start with the industrial ones and move on to the domestic ones below - if you're looking for domestic, just scroll down a bit. Some of these are best suited to a datacentre, farm or our cheap hosting with a price of electricity from just $0.075 per kWh, while others are best for an empty room.

ATTENTION! All miner prices are indicative, as of mid-2025, and change frequently. Click through their page to find out the price for you.

3) Industrial Miners – Antminer S21+

Antminer S21+ is a relatively new mid-range Bitcoin (BTC) miner. It is now available in 216 Th/s, 225 Th/s and 235 Th/s variants. Its price fluctuates, but is in the range of 89 to 95 thousand in mid-2025. Its power consumption is around 3550 W with an efficiency of 16.5 W/Th.

It is cooled by two powerful fans at the front and back. The specialty of Bitmain, the manufacturer who stands behind the Antminer S21+, is a great warranty of one full year.

It is recommended to entrust it to the professionals - like all powerful industrial miners. It is best to use hosting in expert datacenters. Miners of this type are prone to dust and very loud, and are not well suited for home unless you are willing to invest in a suitable environment in addition to PV.

Its payback is around 2,5 to 3 years in mid-2025 using cheap electricity from hosting.

2)Industrial Miners– Antminer L9

We jump straight to the top version of the previous miner - namely Antminer L9. This is the best, and also the most expensive miner available for the Scrypt algorithm (DOGE, LTC). It stands out for its great efficiency of 210 W per Gh. This is about a third better than the L7.

It has many versions. Keep in mind that the price is approximate:

  • 15 Gh/s - price €5600 - consumption approx. 3 150 W
  • 16 Gh/s - price €6000 - consumption approx. 3 360 W
  • 17 Gh/s - price €6600 - consumption approx. 3 570 W

The return on investment of the Antminer L9 models is better than that of the L7. It can fluctuate from one and a half to three years, depending on the price of Dogecoin (DOGE) and Litecoin (LTC) cryptocurrencies. The next halving of Litecoin is in 2027, Dogecoin works more on the basis of difficulty. For more information on potential profit check out our article.

Again, like all the industrial miners in our range, it's more likely to pay to run it professionally on our hosting in the UAE where electricity is very cheap.

1)Industrial Miners– Antminer S21 XP

Antminer S21 XP is the best machine to mine Bitcoin (BTC) today - aka the SHA-256 algorithm. That's why it deservedly tops our list of top cryptocurrency miners. Compared to the Antminer S21+, its efficiency is approximately 15% higher. Bitmain has outdone itself again. However, it should be said that the price/performance ratio sometimes works out better just for the Antminer S21+. Even so, the XP model is a real beast.

We have only one variant available: at a hashrate of 270 Th/s it consumes 3645 W. The warranty is again 12 months, which is the best normally available for miners and usually only offered by Bitmain.

Together with the Silent Box and the filter grid from the package, it could be used in a home environment, however we would not recommend it as it is a very valuable and demanding piece of hardware. Such powerful machines are best used in hosting- as are all industrial miners. Electricity is simply not cheap enough in the Czech Republic. Conversely, if you have photovoltaics, you probably can't keep dust, maintenance, repairs and other conditions low enough.

Now we're gonna go to the home miners. We'll look in detail at all those worth considering.

ATTENTION!When mining at home, it is recommended to have your own cheap source of energy. That being said - at Coin Factory we don't want to sell you a miner at any price if it's not profitable. Therefore, please note that it is not profitable to mine in the Czech Republic without photovoltaics. However, if you have surplus electricity, it can be very profitable.

4) Home Miners – Avalon Q Home

Avalon Q Home is a brand new home miner for mining the cryptocurrency Bitcoin (BTC). It is one of the best available for home mining today. It has an output of up to 90 Th/s and a power consumption of 1674 W. The efficiency is therefore 18,6 W/Th. Only one model is available.

Canaan, the company that stands behind the Avalon Q Home, gives it a solid 12-month warranty. You won't just find that anywhere. The device measures 45.5 × 13 × 44 cm and weighs 12 kg. It fits on any shelf.

Noise performance is essential in a home miner if you don't want to annoy your beloved. The noise level of the Avalon Q Home ranges from 45 to 65 dB, which is approximately equivalent to a dishwasher on or a busy office. It's worth considering buying the Silent Box, which can also allow residual heat to be vented into the house to heat it.

As a home miner it is not possible to connect it to our hosting. You will therefore have to use your own electricity from photovoltaics. You can calculate the profitability using our formula.

3) Home Miners– Avalon Mini 3

The Avalon Mini 3 is a specific mid-range home miner. It works on the SHA-256 algorithm, i.e. mines Bitcoin (BTC). It is a complete novelty and its specialty is that it works as a direct heater in addition to mining itself. Canaan promises a performance of up to 37.5 Th/s with a consumption of only 800 W.

As with the Avalon Q Home, the manufacturer gives it a solid 12-month warranty. The dimensions of the device are 76 × 10.4 × 21.45 cm and the weight is just 8.35 kg. The interesting thing is that it can be controlled via a mobile app.

The last highlight to mention is the pair of extraction modes: night (33-40 dB) and day (55 dB). Again, it can be safely compared to having the dishwasher on.

The Silent Box will not be necessary with this model due to the design. It is the perfect home miner! If you are interested in the profitability, read our formula guide. Unfortunately, if we post it here, it will change in a few hours. But it's a fairly simple formula - no need to worry.

2)Home Miners– IceRiver KS7 Lite

Even though Bitcoin is king, it's worth offering at least one alternative miner. These feature higher potential returns, but also higher risk. The newIceRiver KS7 Lite from IceRiver is designed to mine the Kaspa (KAS) cryptocurrency - the kHeavyHash algorithm. What will it offer?

At 500 W, it has a solid performance of 4.2 Th/s with an efficiency of 119 W/Th. With the price of KAS increasing over the last two years, the profit has also increased proportionally. However, you will still use this miner exclusively with photovoltaics. The noise level is between 45 and 65 dB, which is comparable to other domestic miners.

The IceRiver KS7 Lite is cooled by a pair of fans. The manufacturer IceRiver provides a 6-month warranty for the miner. The dimensions of the device are 19.8 × 20.1 × 11 cm and the weight is 5 kg. Compared to other miners, this is a relatively tiny model.

1)Home Miners– Avalon Nano 3S

Avalon Nano 3S belongs to the lower class of miners and is suitable for all those who would like to start mining cryptocurrencies. It is designed to mine Bitcoin (BTC) through the SHA-256 algorithm. It offers a performance of 6 Th/s and a power consumption of only 140 W. In addition, it is a very compact machine - the dimensions are 20.5 × 11.5 × 5.85 cm and the weight is less than one kilogram. Its appearance is more like a school projector than a miner.

It is practically the cheapest miner that can be connected to mining pools and can thus easily generate real profits. As for noise, it has several modes - the quietest one is only 35 dB. This is equivalent to the fan of a modern laptop or the average noise in a library. It is, in other words, a very quiet miner.
